Great campground with a super good rate. It was busy on Friday, but every other day it was quiet and peaceful. Kids playground is a short walk away and super cool. We saw ground hogs that were cute. We really enjoyed our stay and want to visit again sometime!
A beautiful space and very reasonably priced, but the five stars are mostly for the site attendant Ken! He was so kind and accommodating and came by to check on us and chat at least twice a night. He hand-drew us a map to Brandywine Falls and thoroughly answered all our questions about the plants and wildlife in the area. He even pointed out all the constellations and planets he could see and showed me how to find Arcturus. A very sweet man, a great experience. I'd recommend to absolutely everyone.
Great campground for $12. If you read their web site there is no bathhouse, just some porta pots, only 20 amp electric but it did run air conditioner and refrigerator at same time just fine. Find your own site and attendant came around in evening to register you and collect money and was very helpful about the Cauhoga Valley national Park bike trails and train and had maps and brochures. Great campground large sites quiet just make sure you know what they have. Excellent dog park with lake. Will come back again thanks.
Sites are nice and spread out. Large grassy areas. It was sorta like camping in a picnic area. The sites are not paved. Super quiet, except for the train whistles in the distance.
Great place for the kids to play as Long as it isn't too crowded. Clean bathrooms
